Let’s Speak With Intent

It’s so easy for us to get caught up in conversation that isn’t beneficial. You know when you get around family members or friends and you feel the urge to gossip about someone else or their situation. We all do it, even myself.

It is something that we have unfortunately been conditioned to believe that is normal and accepted. However, if we think about our divine authentic selves and what we were put here to do on this planet, I assure you it’s not to gossip.

We were created to create our own lives and co-create with others for the overall benefit of this world. Holding mindless conversation is such a disservice to yourself and the rest of the world who is meant to receive our greatness.

I have to remind myself of this a lot because like I said, I to fall for the typical conversation. I find it often times difficult to even hold meaningful conversation when I am aware of my intent.

So many people are so accustom to gossip and negative conversations that you can’t seem to steer them the opposite way. I have had a lot of moments where I have tried to steer someone from negative self talk with comments like “So what are you  grateful for in this situation?”

A lot of times some can’t even answer that question or they answer really quickly and continue with a “but”… and get right back to the negative conversation track of mind. I get it, but we have got to do better.

I want to be able to get to a point where everything I say comes from intent. I want to be mindful always of what I am speaking into the Universe. I also want to be able to have a circle of friends who feel the same way.

Let’s be intentional always. Let’s speak only of our dreams, goals, and what makes our heart sing. Let’s do this together so that we all have someone to lean on and co-create with. We can do it, and we can be the better versions of ourselves, always.
