Stay In Your Lane

Don’t ever compare yourself. Understand that not everyone is on the same time frame when it comes to personal growth and success. You might see someone you know very well excelling at their own success meanwhile you feel as though it’s taking forever for you to see some success of your own. The part that needs to be recognized is, you just might be on two different time frames. You could very well be doing all the inside work, personally growing while your friend is doing all the outside work and succeeding at it.

The person you are comparing yourself to is on a different time frame than you and it doesn’t have anything to do with you. You both are excelling and if you could only be aware of it, you wouldn’t be so hung up on the “Why does he have so much going on, and I don’t?” You even will be able to let go of any jealousy you may have conjured up. Not everyone starts with the inner work, and that’s okay. You do not need to be intimidated by anyone that has their outer work all worked out. They too, will eventually have to start their journey on doing the inside work. The same is for you, when your inner work has reached a certain level, you then will start the journey of the outside work. Not everyone starts from the inside out, sometimes its reverse and comes at different times in their lives.

Another great tip is, don’t assume just because you see someone succeeding in what they do, that they don’t have any issues, or feel like they have it all figured out. You have no idea what that person is dealing with in the midst of success so it’s always best to never compare and assume that your life isn’t as great as theirs. You are doing exactly what you are supposed to do when you are supposed to. Don’t allow your thoughts on another persons success lower your self-esteem. Keep your faith in your journey and stay true to yourself. You can’t allow outside influences to alter what is so great on the inside. You have so much to offer and in due time your success will shine!

Always remember to stay in your lane and keep focused on what it is you are doing. Don’t fall for that little voice in your head (ego) that is trying to tell you that you aren’t good enough because you aren’t nearly as successful as the next person. Have faith in your time frame and journey. You will get there! Instead of comparing, how about you list some people who inspire you. I’d love to see who inspires you and keeps you going so list a few of those people on your inspiration list below or tweet me your list.

I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your Saturday! Muah<3
